The selection of the word "helps" implies that a husband is only "helping" and that the main duty of the household chores does not belong to him. In the current society, I think both males and females have evolved to take on an equal and active role in both household and work. Both should be equally recognised for their contributions to household and work. Statements such as this diminish the ability of husbands in the household. As a parenting website, I sincerely hope that the editor can pay more attention to the undertone and promote a community where both males and females are celebrated in the household / society.
