Doc... I’ve noticed that my child has difficulty following instructions and staying focused during activities (she is 2 yo now). How can I differentiate between typical toddler behavior and signs of ADHD?

ADHD is usually diagnosed only after the age of 4, as it can indeed be difficult to distinguish between typical toddler behaviour and ADHD symptoms. For your child, we also need to rule out if the difficulties following instructions and staying focused could be due to other reasons, such as weakness in language understanding, hearing/vision issues or anxiety. At this young age, I would encourage you to continue supporting her ability to focus and follow instructions through play-based activities, using visual supports like pictures and gestures to scaffold (not just verbal).
