Nutritionally, both goat’s and cow’s milk have their own strengths. Goat’s milk is rich in calcium and healthy fats, but it has lower levels of folate (vitamin B9) and vitamin B12 compared to cow’s milk. That’s why it’s important to ensure your child’s overall diet is well balanced, especially if you’re choosing goat’s milk regularly. If your baby is younger than 1 year, make sure to choose a formula made for their age group, and have a quick check-in with your pediatrician before switching things up in their diet.
