paternity leave

anyone whose EDD is nearing end of Dec and tried to appeal to get the 4 weeks of paternity leave (the extension of 2 to 4 weeks starting from 1 Jan 2024) instead of the 2 weeks? TIA!

If the wife is working and entitled for maternity leave, she can share with the husband up to 4 weeks of her maternity leave. Thats what i did with my husband. Else gov only give paternity up to 2 weeks or 10 days. Additional need to take annual leave or unpaid

Tbh i dun tink appealing will work. And i believe not every company gives the 4 wks paternity n i dun tink it is compulsory as well.

I think there’s like a cut off date (for babies born end of Dec) I heard. Not very sure also.
