NUH (Subsidised route)

Can anyone share about your experience with NUH subsidised on delivery day? Preferably with epidural. I went to private for my first child and it was generally ok but this time round going to NUH as its closest to us. I’m afraid of trainees administering epidural so just wanna hear some of your experiences. Would be great if you’re able to share the cost as well. Thanks in advance!

Hi i gave birth to my 1st back in 2022 under NUH sub. Took epidural too and the anaesthetist that gave my epi was amazing. He was joyful and really took his time to administer. Only had to wait for quite a while for him because he was attending another case. Cost wise - i dont remember paying anything out of cash tho everything was thru medisave!
