Scheduled CSECT at KKH

Nope husband not allowed during schedule cset if you are a subsidies patient. I had mine in November and asked the nurse if my husband allowed to be in the opt room and they asked me which class im in 😅.

I just had my C-section on Jan. They don’t allow husband to go in. They told me that I need try to request with your gynae before your scheduled date to make the arrangement if he/she agree.

I don’t think for subsided patient husbands are allowed in the OT. For private patients, you can ask your gynae if husband is allowed. You may also want to call KKH to ask further on this.

i went csect in nuh. assuming that all gov hosp has the same policy, the husband is allowed to be in during the surgery but not the administration of the epidural. hope this helps!
