Hello! It’s called an ear tag. In most cases, ear tags are normal however, they can be associated with other medical conditions. As a nurse who worked in Newborn unit, doctors usually order renal ultrasound so check if the kidneys are in good condition as ear tags can be a good indication that there’s a kidney problem. To be sure, better ask your pediatrician po. And as for its removal, it can be done through surgical excision po, it’s just a minor operation. Hope this helps😊
