Difference is yung mga materials nila. Muslin blankets are more breathable materials which is better for sun shield, cover while breastfeeding, trolley cover, etc. While receiving blanket naman is mostly for newborn swaddles. Pero same parin sila actually. Yung materials lang talaga ang difference.
