my doctor cleared up the myths from day 1 when I went for my first appointment. you can eat pineapple, just dont eat the whole pineapple to yourself at one go 😅 and make sure it is ripe! my doctor joked and said "you're not going to eat 5 whole pineapples at one go right? if not then it's ok to eat pineapples" I've been eating it since first trimester, once a week, like maybe a small bowl full. I'm in my third trimester now, baby is doing well ☺️

My doctor said that too. But you know.... our parents beliefs. 😅

Think it’s best to ask your gynae. But at 34 weeks it is still quite early to consume pineapples. I heard pineapples will soften your cervix and may kickstart labour. I only had pineapple juice 37 weeks onwards.

I’m at 33 weeks. I’ve been eating pineapples once a week since week 28 or so. But I eat just one slice or portion and avoid eating the core. 🫢 but pls ask your gynae alright.

No, as I understand pineapples have enzymes that increase the risk of miscarriage
