Any review on Dr Arijit Biswas from NUH? TIA!

Hello! There are plenty of glowing reviews about Prof Biswas but I had a very unpleasant experience with him. Bedside manners issue. I made an appointment with the clinic on my own (not subsidised route) after my second loss as he came highly recommended and I wanted to be proactive in finding out if there's anything wrong. After a scan, he says it's fine and told me to start trying again two cycles later. He also got me to do some blood tests to test for the usual issues related to recurrent loss. Results came back OK - they were emailed to me by the nurse and no review. Next appointment was four months later and unfortunately, I just had an ectopic pregnancy a few weeks earlier. He expressed such shock when I told him (a really loud HUH) and then said "let your body rest". That was ALL to the appointment. He didn't look at the documents I brought. To me, his reaction was very unprofessional and hurtful at that time. Never went back to him again. Waiting time could take up to two hours if he's attending to urgent cases. I know he is very very skilled and is highly regarded for high risk pregnancies, but bedside manners are important to me on this journey. Perhaps he was really busy or swarmed that day... But a little empathy from him would have been appreciated (my opinion). If your condition requires someone highly skilled, please do go ahead and see him. Perhaps he'll be great for you. His skills might be high. But if you are not having any high risk conditions better to look elsewhere. In a brief he somewhat lacked empathy. We are first timers having normal, low risk pregnancy and it might not be so interesting to him. He looked down upon us with our questions as what we asked should have never been asked. Again this might be one off case.

He is highly recommended in NUH...he specialises in high risk pregnancy. You hv to book him early cause he is almost always fully book. Can go online n check he has alot of good reviews.
