Left rib pain 27 weeks pregnant

#advicepls I went to the doctor to seek help on my left rib pain and was given paracetamol. It didn't help for the pain, I tried different sleeping positions but ended up waking up with horrible sharp pain on my left side for few days steady, it hurts to breathe or move.. what should I do :( it's so painful

You may be feeling some rib pain as your baby grows and pushes upward on your rib cage. The pressure may also be causing indigestion and heartburn. You may also feel stitch-like pains down the sides of your abdomen as your uterine muscle stretches. If its giving u a hard time to breath, i suggest go see you Obgyn again and insist to check if everything is ok. Hope alls well.
