38 week 5 days

Hi #advicepls I am currently 38 week 5 days went to the doctor just now doctor say if by this week baby not out next week will have to induce but now the problem is I keep on feeling the my stomach very tight and and it pulling down I explain to the doctor and he say it common

Yup common cos it's braxton hicks which is not contractions. BH makes you feel tight on the tummy and it comes and goes and normally will go away when you change your position or you could be dehydrated so try to drink more. Contractions is very intense and painful and will not go away no matter what you do. That's when you need to time the interval and if it's too frequent 5-10 mins go head down to the hospital
