Usually if below certain age, kids will be with mum. Unless court order stated as kids to be with dad. Once result are out then you + ex will know either it will be sole custody, shared custody, care + control
You will have to consult your lawyer in regards to this matter. Due to what he has mentioned, most likely he wont be able to care for your child due to safety reason. Moreover and most likely will be you. If he, mentioned that he is suffering from depression and has the intention of committing suicide, this will be taken into consideration too.
