Just about to start preparing for hospital bag.. - bringing breast pump is better or not a need? - what brand of diaper is best i should start with for my newborn? #firstbaby #1stimemom

I gave birth in TMC. LC visited on second day and asked if I brought my breast pump which I did. She taught me how to use my pumps & also measured my flange size. TMC is using Huggies. My LO used them for a month and I switched to Merries NB after she outgrew Huggies NB. :)

There isn’t rly a need for breast pump imo. You can just directly latch. There won’t be much milk coming in the first few days so I guess latching wld be fine. You can go with the same brand that the hospital provided you with. For kkh they give huggies

I'll wash and bring along my breast pump just in case; even if I don't lactate I might be lucky and ask the nurse for advice on how to use the pump. For diapers I'm bringing assorted freebies so I can try them out early.
