Cold and stuffy nose

My 7 month old daughter got cough and stuffy nose. We are giving the prescribed medicines but not reducing. She has little difficulty while sleeping. How to treat it with home remedies? Any solutions to make her sleep well and reduce cold?

need to clear the phlegm from the nose, try to spray the nose with sterimar, nebulizer before sleeping and i used yu yee medicated oil on my baby's chest and the stuffed animal. And we sleep with the eucalyptus diffuser! its going to be tough week, mom! hang in there
