Fever and Poo @ 4 Months

My 4 mth old LO has been having a mild fever mostly at 37.5 to 37.6 and poo diaper changed around 5 times in about 14 hours. But each time is a small amount of watery poo. I checked color chart and see that it is normal poo color. Any similar experience? And could it be teething because he keeps putting his hands in the mouth and biting...
