Tongue tie - to release or not?

My 3 weeks old baby has tongue tie but pedia said no need to clip/release it. But I’m quite bothered, I’m afraid it might affect her when she grow up. Anyone had their LO tongue tie and didn’t proceed with any treatment?

Any reason why your pd said don’t need to do anything about this? It’s one of the biggest reasons for poor breastfeeding
