Tongue tie newborn

I suspect my LO has tongue tie as he does not like to latch and always pushes my nipples away from him. Can polyclinic doctors confirm on such cases or should i bring him to see dentist directly? Any advice on how to check if he has tongue tie? #firstbaby #firsttimemom

Ur baby looks fine, the lactation nanny told me tat sometimes baby are “lazy”, teats from bottles are easier, do not require much sucking. Try to massage ur breast when latching, to encourage better flow, but avoid squeezing ur breast to prevent sudden milk gush that may choke ur baby. Try to encourage him more by skin to skin (both naked, baby with diaper on only)

Base on the photo, same as my LO, ur baby looks perfectly normal. Mayb u can check out some vid on latching, he might not b latching correctly? Also, Probably u shld change the teat for ur LO. Try pigeon brand.

Have you tried bottle feeding? Same thing happened?

Bottle feed is okay but sometimes he choked on it when he suck too fast or something
