breastfeeding

#1stimemom here. Need help on regards of latching. Just gave birth yesterday. and nurse mention my nipple is short. So every 3 hr i have to do pumping. Apparently just now i try latch my baby on my left boobs, she seems like able to swallow smth but when i try pump is only a little of transparent liquid? then my boob start to be so heavy and im having backaching and soreness now. help. i dont understand it...

you can use a breast shield to help you in breastfeeding. currently you having colostrum which is very good for baby. you milk will kick in when you feel your breast like stone. you need to massage use hot compress to open up for your milk to flow best is to find a lactation nurse to help you so you will have a smooth breastfeeding journey. you can DM me at my IG @mummyjlife if you need more information
