Pregnancy

Don't drink energy drinks in pregnancy. They contain high levels taurine and caffeine which are bad for you and your baby. Caffeine can also increase the risk of miscarriage.

Postpartum

Avoid energy drinks in the postpartum period. Though some vitamins can be found in energy drinks, they also contain a lot of taurine and caffeine can have adverse effects on your recovery.

Breastfeeding

Consuming energy drinks during breastfeeding is not advised. Most energy drinks contain high levels of taurine and caffeine, and these may contaminate your breast milk which will not be good fo your baby.

Baby

Energy drinks are not suitable for babies under the age of 11 months or of any age.
