Transitioning from breastmilk to formula milk

Im latching and feeding expressed milk from bottle since two weeks old and now my bb is 1 month old, im looking to transition from breastmilk to formula. So far i bought Enfamilk for her. Any tips on how to see if its suitable for her? And how should i slowly introduce her to formula so she could have formula in infant care and breastmilk when im home?

For me I introduce alternate hours as BM/FM or ill do as first few hours BM, then FM till bed time. Ill start with small tin brand then see if baby poop, pee normally and no signs of allergy, etc. Then when it suits, once you send to IFC will be FM, when baby get home BM. If not enough then top up with FM.

High Blood Pressure

Ive been having high blood since i found out im 9 weeks pregnant. Now im at 26w4d now and my bp is at 149/81. Im starting to feel chest pain as and when i wake up from sleep. Im very concerned because it doesnt go down naturally. Any lifestyle tips while consuming aspirin and Nifedipine? Im really scared it will affect the rest of my pregnancy.

Hi mummy. My blood pressure is q high too. Pls rmb to take ur blood pressure everyday at home, I got one monitor from the pharmacy. Eat really clean food, steam fish, veggies, fruits etc. really no choice, though the food isnt nice. But it really helped to keep my blood pressure under control.

Aspirin at 17 weeks!

I was given Aspirin 100MG on 11 weeks, but i forgot about it until recently. So im only starting now at 17 weeks. Is my baby gonna be ok? Im so worried now!

I think aspirin is prescribed to avoid/minimise high blood pressure. Did ur gynae prescribed u with aspirin because u have existing high blood pressure condition? If not perhaps it’s just preventive measure then it shld be fine. U may want to discuss with ur gynae!

I dont drink pepsi/coke pre pregnancy at all but once im pregnant i find myself wanting it with salt and lemon! So far in my 16 weeks pregnancy i’ve drank thrice secretly because my parents dont allow it. I just wanna know why i cant - issit because im having it with salt and lemon?

it's not that you can't, but best is to cut down on cold drinks and sugary drinks now....
