Humidifiers For Newborn Baby

Is it okay to use humidifier or diffuser in the room with your new born baby? If yes, whats the benefits?

I personally won't suggest using a humidifier lalo na kung may allergy ang baby. Dahil jan nagka ubo at sipon ang baby ko nung 3.5 months old sya. Sinabi ko yan sa pedia nya pinagalitan ako alisin daw lahat ng humidifier sa bahay dahil may allergy ang baby ko. Sa ngayon ang ginagamit namin ay air purifier.
