Transition from formula to cows milk at 12 months

How do I transition baby to cows milk, do I still need to get stage 3 milk if my LO is going to start cows milk. We use long life full cream milk at home, do I need to get fresh full cream milk for baby once I make the transition and also how do I serve the cows milk, someone said I need to boil it first then serve the cooled milk ? Thanks First time parent
