Age where kids start skipping nap

Anyone kids that is close to 2 yo but still very sticky to mummy or daddy? Any way to help them get use to not having to stick around mummy and daddy all the ti.e

I don’t have kids that age but I’m a qualified preschool educator. Get your child to socialise more.. Attachment in kids is common. They have separation anxiety when they are away from familiar adults. Bring your child out & about often. At home, get him/her to sit for solitary play, scribbling, colouring activities but monitor from far. It’s hard at first but it will get better.. Tell your child, you need to get something for a while, go toilet, get a drink, etc. Do not lie. Otherwise, you’ll break his/her trust. When you come back to join your child, thank him/her for waiting! Hope this helps! Keep me posted!!

breastfeeding while at work

Hi working mummies Currently im pumping evy 3 hrs. MyLO is hust few weeks old. I am wondering how can i reduce the number of pumping and yet still prevent engorgement at around 4 months onwards. As i will be going back to work after ML ends. Also night pumping would be a toll after works starts. Hence would like to reduce the number of pumps per day

From every 3hours to 4hrs? I pump once or twice at work now 530am 1130am 330pm(depends on work schedule) 730pm 1130pm

any resources or support group in sg for mum to be

Any support group that can provide emotional and psychological support for mum to be and mum who are just gave birth and yet adapting to in laws moving in. Starting to realise that the different lifestyle and my own personality doesnt suits staying with someone else other than my own husband. Like i tend to hide in my room to avoid contact with inlaws . And im feeling frustrated for nthing ever since they are in. Cannot stand them using their old clothes as flor rags m and bring some unasthetic items to add on to our hse since ours has a theme for our ID

Hey, I can understand. Best would be to have a chat with your husband about it on how to deal with this going forward. May be have some basic rules but explain to the in-laws politely ?

coconut oil pro and cons

Dear mummies Is it safe to use coconut oil on babies? What are the benefit? Does any brand of coconut oil works? My in laws just bought a bottle from thailand but i am not sure is it safe to apply on baby skin given that baby skin are more sensitive

I used cold compresses coconut oil on my infant head. Due to eczema & cradle cap. It's safe.

Anyone know what is the ogtt benchmark which above that is considered failed? Is it 7.5 or 8.5?
