Ultrasound at 37 weeks for AFI & EFH

Hi mommies, I just got my regular check up/ultrasound at my gynae today and she asked me to come back after 5 days for Amniotic Fluid Index and Estimated Foetal Heartbeat. Is it really a must? Or can I skip it? With my first baby almost 2 years ago, I was never asked to do this.

Hi mum, I also had my first one a year ago. I was never asked to do it. How about asking in detail your doctor.
