Need some tips or suggestions

I live in shanghai untill may 20 with my 14 months baby girl.. is it difficult to bring baby with a light stroller by Metro to downtown or another town? And i have no experience to take Metro by myself here..i heard some people say it’s very complicated because it has so many lines. If somebody have some travel experience with a baby alone,please give me a suggestion..

I haven't had to take my kids to Shanghai, however I have read that it is not adviseable to take strollers in to the Metro. Some stations don’t have escalators, so taking the stairs might be challenging with carrying a stroller
