Cup feeding

How to overcome NIPPLE CONFUSION: (ito po yun ayaw na magdede ni baby directly sa breast) We call this FLOW CONFUSION. Mas prefer na ni baby ang flow ng bottle kasi mabilis at lunok lang sila ng lunok kesa sa nipple natin na need nila ilatch at gamitin ang tongue nila sa pag labas ng milk. Ito po yun nakikipagboxing na si baby, parang nandidiri sa nipple natin. But actually gusto lang talaga niya un mabilis na flow na milk. (Kaya hindi ito sa shape or form ng nipple ni mommy) Step 1. At all cost, Ditch all bottle feeding. Si Bote po ang kaaway natin dito. Kahit nakaformula na si baby niyo(kung mix man or full formula), instead na ibigay sa bottle pls do the following: A. i-CUPFEED po si baby. Kung nag titimpla kayo ng 3oz wag po ilagay sa bote at icupfeed na lang k baby. Use a small cup or shot glass to cupfeed baby. B. DRIP DROP METHOD - using a spoon drip drop un formula milk (kung wala na express na breastmilk) sa may breast while trying to let baby latch sa breast. Baby will think na fast na un flow ng milk if the drip drop method is done. Ask help from husband or family members to do the drip drop while you are trying to let baby latch. Pwede niyo hatiin: 1.5 oz cupfeed, 1.5 oz nakadripdrop. This process helps baby forget the bottle without necesarily starving baby. Ang baby natin may natural behavior to suck. COMFORT SUCKING or nutnut in tagalog, they do this when they were still in our tummy. So ngayon pag labas pag nawala si bottle, san sila mag comfort sucking? Sa breast natin. So that will help bring baby back to the breast. But please if you have Breastmilk available pls hand express then un po ang icupfeed and idripdrop method. The more na mag lalatch si baby, the more na dadami un milk niyo. Law of supply and demand. Step 2. Skin to skin contact. It is so important na ibalik si baby sa skin to skin contact kasi malakas ang sense of smell nila. Ang areola natin ay may amoy na parang amniotic fluid which is very familiar k baby at hahanp hanapin ni baby yun. (Montgemery glands) Let baby do kangaroo mother care on you kahit 6 months and up pa yan para maamoy ulit nila ang areola natin. They'll always be our babies anyway db? Step 3. Sayaw sayaw, Lakad lakad method! This is so effective especially pag mejo nanlalaban si baby at nangaaway. Sway your baby and sing to baby and ipasyal pasyal siya by walking around. This motion is a comforting motion para siyang position of comfort ng babies. Step 4. PRAY PRAY PRAY. If its your desire na mawala ang nipple confusion ni baby. Pag pray natin that the Lord will work on this process with you and baby. Hindi lang kayo 2. Kasama si GOD dito. Mga mommy ask ko po kong anu ginawa po ninyo sa inverted nipple po ninyo?? hindi po kasi makagat ni baby nipple ko..nkka frustrate.. ??madami po nmn milk..
