As a working mother, during the 4 months of maternity at home, is it better to use the normal wired breast pump or just use the imani/youha from the start? Confused if I should just buy the portable one from the start or buy the wired one for home.

They always say it’s best to use the wired ones first before your supply regulates but it really depends on individual. I switched to handsfree pump at 1.5m since I’m the only caregiver and needed my hands to be free while pumping. Surprisingly, it yielded even better than the wired ones (60ml vs 180ml). Not to forget, handsfree’s pump time is half of the wired ones! I’d say, up to your own comfort level. For me, definitely handsfree! (SAHM here 😅)
