mastitis low supply

So I just had mastitis a few days ago but after clearing the duct and fever is gone, supply seems to be spiralling downwards. Is this normal?? Someone please tell me that my supply will go back up? Are there worst case scenarios it doesn't?

when do you start losing weight?

I'm 8w pp. My weight seems to be stagnant. I'm exclusively pumping all the feeds for my LO. I read somewhere that breastfeeding without top up helps lose 500cal a day. Is it because I'm not latching?
