Feeding corn to 6 month old

I'm trying to make corn puree for my 6month+ baby but each corn kernel comes with a shell that does not get blended and it seems quite tough for a baby. Should I remove them individually (is there a way to do it easily?) Or should I just feed my baby as it is? Has anybody fed 6mth baby corn before?

Hmm, why not try using baby corn instead? Else try giving it as a whole. Let baby explore the corn. If they do bite out the kernel then you observe..
