Hi mummies, my baby is going to 3mths old and he has been having dirt yellowish come out from the left eyes often. I have clean the eye always. Baby is on mix fm and bf.

Common for baby due to blocked tear duct but if there is any swelling or redness do bring your baby to see a dr. My 2 mth old also has the same yellowish discharge on his left eye yesterday and I put my breastmilk on the affected eye. Healed today! Our breastmilk can use for many things including that so put a fresh drop of your bm on the affected eye then slowly & gently sweep your bm on his eyelid. Again like the above, if it does not heal pls bring baby to see a dr.
