Cradle cap tips & remedies

Hi everyone, I’m a FTM and my son (4m) has cradle cap/dandruff on his scalp. I’ve tried using putting coconut oil/baby oil before shower to loosen the flakes and mustela shampoo to clear it. However, it seems like it’s getting worse as his scalp has become red and itchy. Any products or tips/remedies that you found helpful in clearing cradle cap and/or reducing itchy scalp? Thank you!

my firstborn have it around 1mth+ old. I was told by the confinement lady that it's normal. she just told us to apply baby oil on his scalp frequently (not before shower thou) and the flakes started to go away in about a month..
