My Husband is Outrageous—Instead of job hunting, he’s asking for HELP from my parents????

I just need to vent, moms. These past few months, I’ve been so stressed. My husband recently resigned from his job because he said he was under a lot of stress—his boss was toxic, his colleagues were toxic, and the competition was unhealthy. He promised to find a new job soon, but until now, he hasn’t found one. Worse, he seems to be getting too comfortable with this situation. I come from a fairly well-off family, but from the beginning of our marriage, we agreed not to ask for anything from my family. I wanted us to be independent. But just yesterday, he actually asked me to seek help from my parents. I was so upset. How dare he ask me to do that when I’ve never even done it myself? And to top it off, my child will start school next year, and our expenses will definitely increase. I used to work too, but I resigned after giving birth—with his approval as well. Why can’t he be more driven to find a job like other husbands???????
