Baby moving too much

Baby is generally active throughout the day but at night when I'm about to sleep the movements will tone down. However last night baby kept moving and it's definitely more than usual. I'm in week 27 now. Is it any cause of concern? Is my baby feeling distress? #firsttimemom #worriedmom

As they are going through stage of growing, baby's movement pattern would not be the same. Baby are not in distress just that maybe, baby happened to be active and moving alot.

Can anyone share what is your weight gain in your late trimester 2. Between 24-27weeks? I gained around 7kg since week 5onwards.

I've gained 12kg so far, currently at week 27.

Is it normal for baby to kick so hard at 27 weeks?

Yes, because of the space constrain in our tummy as well as growing baby they get active and kick hard sometimes. I mean you will see the different pattern of your baby movement as time goes by.

3D scan: To Go or Not To Go

Hello Mommies, Just would like to know if it is worth getting a 3D Scan? Hope to hear from others 🙂#firsttimemom

I would go for it. As a FTM, I wanted to go for 3D/4D but my husband didn’t want to hence we didn’t go for it. I kind of regretted (cause first baby right) and partly because my 2D was bad, didn’t see anything at the later stage anymore…. Just black scans. (Gynae is good but machine is old) If you want, just go for it. This one once over, no chance already. 🥹

Food for Gestational Diabetes and Anemia

I was diagnosed with GD and anemia during my second pregnancy. Can any mummies with same symptoms share with me what types of food should I eat? Will only see the specialist this Thursday :(

Eat wholemeal or whole grain options. Opt for a side salad instead of mash potatoes. More of proteins and veg

Natural birth with slipped disc

Hi, any mummies have slipped disc yet went ahead with natural birth? Any advice if I should opt for c-sect or natural? Thank you 😊

I had spine fracture before and my gynae said best to go for C-section. So I will do C-sect with GA which is safest for me.
