Hello mummies, my 5 months old baby girl is having sweaty palm, isit normal?

It is common that human sweats either through hair follicles, palms, body, feet. However, if it excessive do raise the concern during check up. It can be possible of anxious feeling, or other issues. My 2 months old jave sweaty palms but not excessive, we stop using mittens on her.

Baby eye seem a bit slanted

Hi mummies, my baby is 3 months old and I feel like the eye a bit slanted. Has anyone encountered similar issues? What should I do? Or am I overthinking? TIA

Yes, my baby was like that when she was 3 months old and I was concern about that. Every time, i went to polyclinic for vaccination, i told to doctor about eye of my baby so he checked it and said it was normal then said see how 6 months cause baby often change it. When my baby was 6 months, I consulted again to doctor cause I still felt her eyes a bit slanted then doctor checked again and refer my baby to KKH. So, my baby got test from KKH. For peace of your mind, it's better consult to doctor about your concern.

Upcoming detailed scan @ 20 weeks 4 days.

Hi! In a week's time, i'm going for my Detailed Scan and to find out the Gender @ 20 weeks 4 days. Do i have to go with full bladder or empty bladder to have a clear view of the scan? Or any other tips & advices to ensure that my baby will show his/her gender clearly? #firstbaby #advicepls

You don’t have to hold your bladder, baby is big enough to scan at week 20

Which brand of cerelac do you recommend?

Hi, doc has given a go ahead to start my 5 month old LO on solids. He mentioned starting baby on rice based cerelac. I wanted to know which brand of cerelac are you using once baby starts solids and how has your experience been like? Milk for 5 months old baby

Every baby’s intake is different. Have to trial and error on your own, as long as no major spit ups will do. Mine is taking 60ml when she’s 5mo (bm).

Induction date given on 29 Nov 2022!

Hi hi! FYI i'm 38+2 today. I wonder what is going to happen on 29 November 2022, when the Doctor arranged that date to be my Induction day and told me to bring my hospital bag along. A week ago, my cervix was 1cm dilated. Will the Doctor still induce me even if my cervix is still at 1cm on 29 Nov? #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

If baby is doing well, not in distress and mummy’s condition is okay, I would give it till week 40. But, if doctor arranged your induction date, if you are still 1cm on 29/11, yes, you will most probably still be induced as planned.

Baby Milk Intake

According to the PD, my 4mo baby should be drinking about 150ml. However, he always stops at 120ml sometimes lesser and refuses to drink anymore. I tried breaking up the feeds so he can drink more but he refuses and takes so long to finish his milk. Sometimes I even have to force him to finish a bottle. Because he sleeps through the night, he only gets about 6 bottles of milk a day. Definitely not enough for his weight. Anyone have any suggestions?

4mo definitely not drinking 150 but maybe just 100, PD say it’s fine, weight gain is on track. Diaper output is good! So I didn’t really bother anymore see force her to drink more
