I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and I'm experiencing sticky discharge and lower back pain.

Does anyone experience the same? Should I call the labour ward??

You need to look out for active labour signs such as contractions every 5 minutes or less, bloody show, water bag break etc. I don’t think what you are experiencing now are labour 🤔

What to do!!!!!!

Hi guys I’m currently 35 weeks now. And I haven’t buy anything. was told to wait by the in laws and frankly speaking I don’t want to wait anymore. Worried baby can come any moment. I’ll take actions into my own hands but where do I buy baby things? Expo is having a baby event on the 16th Aug and I’m not sure if it’s the right place for me. Scared kena hard sell. or maybe Shopee?

Dream of giving birth

Hiii I’m currently 31w+ and I’ve been having dreams about giving birth soon, does that mean my baby will come soon? Cause I’ve seen some that give birth ard 32w onwards . Honestly I can’t wait to pop the baby out. I wanna lie flat on my tummy

It could be because you have been thinking of your baby all the times 😛 My best friend and sister dreamt of me giving birth (because they’re excited as well) when I was around week 34-35. I gave birth at week 39.

Private ultrasound

Hi Mummies! I'm currently with KKH subsidized route and I was wondering if anyone here knows any clinic that does private ultrasound scan? I'm just itchy finger and just want to see my baby again (or at least more often as I like without waiting the long appointments at KKH) Hopefully someone can intro 😊

do update if u have found a reasonsble price.. i do have itchy hands too..

KKH private or TMC?

Hi mummies, can anyone share your experience delivering at KKH & TMC as well as the delivery costs please!

Rough gauge - TMC 2021, single bed ($550 in 2021, now is $760), natural delivery. $4.3K Medisave, $3.7K cash (for hospital bill only, also depends on how much is your gynae’s charges). Nurses and staffs there are always smiley at all times and responsive. I’m a FTM and they were really assuring thru out when I broke down as I’m scared. Food wise, all average (I’m picky, but my husband finds it ok 😅). My bonus is I got to spend my first day at dalvey suites because the normal 1 bedder I wanted was full 😂. One thing to consider for TMC is the parking lots and traffic (it’s horrendous if you drive). My visitors was complaining that they have to park somewhere else as there weren’t any lots available.

Hiring a nanny for the first time for my second child and I was wondering if there’s stuff to take note/look out for. I’m afraid nanny will clash with my long time helper (20 years already) as she took care of my firstborn and can be quite stubborn. #nanny

What should prepare for hospital bags

Hi mommies, need your advice. Can anyone send me the list which needs to be prepared for the hospital bag and when?

Depending on your ward, here’s mine. Single bed, natural delivery. - Admission form, ic, prenatal bills (to claim MMP). - Charger, comb, skincare - Nursing bra, change of clothings (I wore what I admitted in so I didn’t bring extra) - Kotex overnight panties (for discharge day) That’s all I brought for my hospital bag, I packed at week 39😅 (advisable to pack earlier maybe week 36/37).
