First Gynae Appointment

When do you start seeing a gynae to confirm the pregnancy? I am currently week 7 and I am nervous because my appointment is next week and currently do not have any symptoms except for tender breasts and frequent urination. I do feel abit nauseous at week 6 but I do not feel anything now. Should I be worried?

I called in to schedule on Week 5 and was given an appointment for Week 8. Smooth pregnancy & overdue (too comfy lol), no nausea/MS/heartburns/water retentions etc. It’s normal to feel worried but try to stay positive and look forward to next scans to see bb! Don’t forget to take care of yourself too :)

Nausea & cannot eat (week 6)

Just turned 6 weeks, 1st baby I had no trouble eating anything or home cooked food but current pregnancy, I can't even have a proper meal at home 😭 everything just doesn't taste nice anymore. Nausea the whole day, everything don't look appealing (even though I wanted to eat and cooked it) the only food I can eat is takeaway food (at times) 🥹🥹when does it gets better OR how you mummies overcome it? Any advice 😭 I miss home cooked food but I just can't eat and swallow anything. Everything just makes me wanna vomit 😭😭

Pregnancy piles

Advice pls. I developed painful external piles at 6 weeks. Is there any treatment or I need to endure till post partum?

Please see a colorectal doctor! I see Dr Sharon Koh from Colorectal Practice. She’s very friendly and a bit whacky. Don’t suffer in silence. She’ll be able to advise and probably prescribe medication. If you don’t want to see a doctor, you can also take some prebiotics - i take Advagen occasionally. It helps my poo to pass smoothly. It’s a supplement - no smell, no taste, and dissolves in water.

Any recommendations on 1st trimester diet plan

Eat more quality food like fruits and vegetables. Build your immune system. Take your supplements. I still eat junk food like snacks, bubble tea etc but in moderation

Go for your first gynae visit when you are around week 7-8.
