Anyone did transvaginal ultrasound scan at 5weeks+?

I was referred to KKH Urgent O&G last wednesday because i have been having pain in the abdominal for a couple of days. After a detailed ultrasound scan by the diagnostic imaging department, they only found an empty gestational sac, no yolk sac nor embryo. Although the doctor kinda implied that its a 50-50 chance of an eventual miscarriage (googled blighted ovum) or baby is too small to be seen, and i cant help but feel worried. Anyone experience the same or similar? Sorry for the rant. Just needed some positivity. P.S: i did not experience any bleeding or spotting thus far.

How bad is the cramps?

Hello 2nd time mummies just wondering when did yall stop baby carrying with your baby carrier your first child? My hubs is going in for reservist soon and I have to handle my toodler who do not like to walk to school in the morning and needs carrying. Would like to know if is safe to baby carry still? By then I will be in the start of 2nd trim my toodler is 12kg 🙂‍↕️

i stop when my baby getting heavy 😅 but it still up to u which u prefer , sometime the kids is the one dun want to use baby carrier.. hahaha

Its my first time after getting married and being pregnant and i have no one to share with because i'm keeping it a secret from my family and friends, When should i see the obgyn and do i have to go to the polyclinic first or shld i just book an appointment to see an obgyn directly? and when is the best time to go! ive seen online that usually week 8-12 is the best time but i'm unsure atm! anything will help! #bantujawab #firstmom #FirstTime #firsttimemom #pregnancy

once u know u pregnant , go poly den tell them u pregnant u can refuse to check urinetest for the 2nd time at poly as u already check yourself and show them the picture and ask them to refer u to which hospital u prefer.. u can just walk in kkh if u want to have a private gynae or poly for subsidy.. and congrats ya..

is 3rd Pregnancy the baby bump would usually show very fast? my 1st two kids are in 2019, 2020. Now I am about 5 weeks+.

my 1st pregnancy and 2nd it didnt show at 12 weeks but 16 weeks i can see the bump.. For my now 3rd pregnancy im at 6 weeks it do show alot 😅

Feeling nauseous whole day

Hi mummies, I’ve been feeling so unwell and nauseous the whole time. Sometimes even heartburn.. went to visit a doctor and was prescribed with some medication. It doesn’t help at all after taking those med🤢…

Try sipping on 100 plus or fruits infused water to see if it helps.

Hi! Can you recommend a powdered milk brand that's suitable for someone with GDM? I love milk but need to be cautious about sugar content. Anmum is too sweet for me.

if anmum too sweet u can try increase the water level.. im taking enfamamaA+ , i increase my water level as i dun like to drink sweet milk 😅 or u can ask yr gynae to recomman u which milk is better for u..

Mount E Novena or Thomson

Which hospital is better? I’m a first time mum to be and am not sure which hospital to opt for. Mount E Novena is more expensive and has only 1 bed option while Thomson is slightly less expensive and has 2 bed options (but I heard it’s commercialised and does not have full facilities in case of emergency you will need to be shifted to KKSH). Any thoughts on this? #firsttimemom

i think u can call up both hospital and ask the question , they might help u..

Spotting/bleeding

Hi, i am currently spotting and having some bright red bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant. I am waiting to see my gynae. Anybody has any stories to share - whether they go on to have a successful pregnancy despite this? This is my rainbow baby pregnancy and I rly hope there’s nth wrong :(

may i know if u still having spotting now? If yes , as my gynae advice me to straight go to A&E.. As some pregnant women do have spotting which last not more than 2 days.. I did hava too when i was pregnant my 1st child and i thought i was on period until i find out i was pregnant.. but my spotting only lasted 1 day.. So if u still spotting and your are worried pls go A&E asap..

Hi, do you usually buy a breast pump before or after delivery? I bought one previously, but after two months of breastfeeding, I switched to formula due to low milk supply. Now, some parts of the pump are missing, and I'm considering buying a new one for my second baby. Should I wait until after delivery to get it, as I'm unsure how much milk I’ll be able to produce?

You can wait till you delivered, then ask LC to measure your nipple size then get a new flange and other spare parts.
