Hello mummies, my baby is turning 11weeks old soon. I find that he takes very long to drink his milk (1hour), doesn’t show interest in drinking. Currently I’m feeding him 120-140ml. Should we actually be feeding on demand? Cause I also find that sometimes he sleeps a lot and don’t really cry for milk. So that’s why we are doing 3 hours interval, but maybe that’s why he is not hungry? If we feed on demand, what if it has been more than 5hours and he don’t make any noise? Please help.#pleasehelp #FTM #firstbaby

yes you should feed on demand and based on baby’s cues. taking long because likely not hungry, as you rightly said. if it passes 4 hours, do feed.

Carrying position

My baby is 9 weeks old and has been fussing a lot lately and suddenly prefers to be held in an upright chest to chest carrying position to be soothed instead of the usual cradle position. Is it normal?

Yes it’s normal. cradle likely causes reflux that is uncomfortable. do burp your baby sufficiently

Baby is 1 month 22 days , since last week, very frequently vomiting milk , but not alway also reflux got increased, any suggestions

Carrying position

yes because cradle likely causes your baby to experience reflux and it’s uncomfortable. it’s very normal. do burp your baby sufficiently.

Heat rash or allergy?

My baby is 8 weeks old but a few weeks back we noticed little red dots on her face area, then gradually it started spreading to her neck folds, chin, chest, arm pit and elbow areas. We tried to apply rash cream on her but it doesn’t seem to be resolving. And her cheeks starts to feel quite dry too. Does anyone also has this issue with their little one?

I just noticed my baby had this too! Think the weather is too hot recently. May be heat rash

Diaper changing

My little one (8 weeks old) keeps crying when it’s time for diaper change and bath time. This started when she came back from the hospital 2 weeks after her birth (she’s a preemie of 33 weeks) until now. Is it she dislikes water? Anyone experience the same thing?

yes it’s normal! because the temperature change is super uncomfortable for babies, they like the warmth. it’s super normal and will pass. make sure water is warm enough.

What should I do when there rash on neck , been unfeeling well this past 2 days like body in heat. Is it having fever , haven't do his ART. I even get sick cough, flu and slight fever. As for the parent ART negative. 1st time parenting Baby boy 1 MONTH 21 DAYS

1m baby sleeping schedule

Hello Mummies! Could you share your baby sleeping & feeding schedule? My baby is turning 2m in 3 weeks. Currently, she can sleep up to 4 hours during the day. I had to wake her up for feeding. As for night routine, she could sleep through without waking up for feeding. But we kept it at 4 hourly too. May I know if its okay? Should I reduce her day time sleep to 2 hours? Really appreciate everyone's share! I understand that different babies have different preference, growth and demand. #firstbaby #firsttimemom

My baby feeds 2 hourly during newborn days, at night I will dream feed her if she sleeps past her bedtime. I dont limit her sleep :)

Postnatal pelvic floor recovery

Hi mummies, does anyone know where to find good physiotherapy for postnatal recovery? Like pelvic floor muscles assessment & treatment, and treatment for pelvic bone pain and diastasis recti? Also does any hospital or Polyclinic have such services? I was experiencing urine leakage after my first childbirth. Kegel exercise didn’t help much, but maybe I was doing it wrong or it doesn’t suit me. Thus I am looking for a more professional assessment and guidance this time after my second childbirth. Thank you!

only hospital does, you can try to get a referral for this but it will take months before you get an appt. otherwise can go for private PT clinics that specializes in women’s health. urine incontinence can last 1-2 years postpartum, so do set your expectations too.
