Ingredients
-
1 tbsp brown sugar
-
3 tbsp mirin
-
2 tsp rice vinegar
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp cornflour
-
20 g ginger , grated
-
Make the teriyaki sauce. In a small saucepan, mix all the ingredients and stir well on medium heat. Bring to a boil and allow for it to bubble for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly (you should be able to form a thick syrup).
-
Heat oil on a skillet and wait until really hot. Stir-fry the steak pieces for just 4 minutes to manage the doneness of the beef. Season with salt and pepper. You can stir fry longer if you prefer it well done.
-
Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving dish and fill it with cucumber, radishes, onion and coriander. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Add the steak pieces, pour the sauce over them and serve.
