Ingredients
- 3 cups or 28 medjool dates
- 2 cups organic salted peanuts
- Melted coconut oil
Steps
- Remove seeds from dates. In food processor, pulse and blend dates into a ball and then break up the ball into smaller sections in the food processor.
- Add peanuts and pulse until smooth.
- Test the stickiness of the paste by forming a small part into a small ball. If it is not sticky enough, add a little coconut oil. Keep testing until you reach a consistency that will stick together.
- If you are trying to consume at least 6 dates a day for shorter labor, divide paste into 4 equal sections. You can opt to mold them into balls or bars.
