Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ red onion , chopped
- 1 garlic clove , minced
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves , chopped
- 3 cups diced canned tomatoes
- 1 pound whole grain spaghetti pasta
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil. Sautee garlic and onion for about 5mins.
- Add in the tomatoes and basil. Season with salt and stir to combine well.
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package and drain.
- Toss the pasta into the sauce and serve.
