
Barley & Candied Winter Melon Drink





Ingredients
- 1/2 cup barley pearled or hulled
- 1 cup wintermelon candied
- 8 cups water
- 2 pandan leaves rinsed and knotted
- White sugar to taste
Steps
- Rinse and soak barley for 30 minutes. Drain.
- Place barley, candied winter melon, water, and pandan leaves in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for an hour.
- Remove and allow to cool. Serve warm or chilled.
