Exploring private gynae for 2nd trimester

Hello all, my wife and I is at the 10th week, under subsidized care at KKH. I’m hoping to explore private gynae and hope to have the baby delivered in Mount A as i want my wife to feel more comfortable. I want to ask around but wanted to wait till 2nd trimester, wonder if there are advice here for me to take? Will i have to pay back the fees if I change gynae or clinic? Any recommendations for delivery procedures and gynae?

you only pay for services you used, akin to a normal dr service - you don’t have to ‘pay back the fees’. if u want to change can just ask kkh for the medical info and make appt at mt A kkh also can be very comfortable. what u pay in A class ward in kkh may be equivalent to a 4 or 6 bedder in private hosp. procedure wise depends on ur wife’s pregnancy condition and preference
