Why is blood coming from my vagina towards the end of my pregnancy? What can I do to stop the bleeding?

Bleeding later in your pregnancy is less common and can be a sign of a serious problem, such as placenta previa (when the placenta covers the cervix) or placental abruption (separation of the placenta). It is advised that You should go to your nearest hospital emergency department for a check up especially if there's pain and heavy bleeding.
