Baby sit facing front carrier

At which month can babies sit in carrier facing front? And for how long ? Heard that its not recommended for long as itll affect baby’s spine. Cause i see lots of babies sitting front facing for long period of time, wonder if itll affect the spine or its actually fine. Im using ergobaby #FTM

You need to get a comfy carrier that suits you and baby needs not just for short time but in a long run. Facing front would be best 8 months and above. For my #1 I started 6/7 months onwards. While my #2 only recently started at 11 months. It depend on your child comfortability.
