According to the ICA website: Births should be registered within 14 days from the date of birth, including Sundays and public holidays. Bring along: - Notification of Live Birth issued by the hospital (For parents of children not born in hospitals can obtain the Notification of Live Birth from the doctors/midwife/ ambulance staff who delivered the baby.) - Identity Cards of both parents - Original marriage certificate of parents, with English translation (if applicable) For foreigners, also bring along: - Passports of parents - Entry Permits of parents - Disembarkation/Embarkation card of parents For more information on registration of birth: http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=144
