You should take folic acid and vitamin D, stay active and watch what you eat, be vaccinated for whooping cough and flu, and ensure you are in a healthy mental state. Later on in your pregnancy, you should monitor your baby's movements and sleep on your side. You should not be smoking, drinking alcohol, doing vigourous exercise and drinking too much caffeine.
