Starting solids
What kind of solids did you give your baby? Puree ideas and BLW ideas are both welcome. Please recommend your brand of rice cereal/oats as well!

Hello! :) I did a mixture of BLW and puree, whereby puree is the main food I give and I would give the solid food for baby to see smell touch also. E.g. sweet potato puree + strips to touch and press 😂 I started more with single foods, and now I pair them in either mixture (e.g. peanut butter + banana) or 2-3 foods in one meal separately. For all foods just make sure you're serving in right texture / size (e.g. for 6 months a bit smoother, puréed and for 9 months or when they sprout teeth, small chunks) Fruits and vegs easier to start with, then you can start to introduce meats and allergens after you get into a routine of feeding solids. Oats (I use Gerber) Fruits Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Nectarine, Peach, Avocado, Papaya, Honeydew, Watermelon, Apple, Pear, Orange, Mandarin orange, Raspberry, Mango, Longan, Prunes, Dragonfruit, Grape, Plums, Coconut, Kiwi, Guava Vegetables Napa cabbage, Potato, Cucumber, Tomato, Peas, Pumpkin, Eggplant, Spinach, Sweet potato, Carrots, Corn, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Shiitake mushrooms, Cabbage, Bok Choy, Green beans, Lotus roots I also introduced a peanut butter with no added salt and sugar early on (around 6.5 months) as having a small amount of allergen in diet consistently can help to prevent allergy from forming :) if serving egg, start with yolk fully cooked only. Allergen mostly in egg white Have fun!! 🤩
