For married couples, you can claim Parent Tax Relief (PTR) of $20k per child, which is shared between the 2 parents. For example, if mother claims $10k, father claims $10k. If mother claims $20k, father cannot claim anymore. For more information on PTR:https://www.iras.gov.sg/IRASHome/Individuals/Locals/Working-Out-Your-Taxes/Deductions-for-Individuals/Parenthood-Tax-Rebate--PTR-/ For working mummies, we get Working Mum's Child Relief (WMCR). The amount you get differs according let to the birth order, up to 25% of the mother's pay per child.
